From December 7 to 9, 2023, Banja Luka played host to one of the most awaited events in the IT world – the International Scientific Conference, ISCon. With the buzzing energy at Banski dvor and the “Youth Center”, this central event of the IT community brought together over 500 participants from ten countries, creating a vibrant melting pot of ideas and expertise.
Organized by UG “ATTEND IT” and the Union of Students of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Banja Luka, ISCon 2023 was more than just a conference – it was a celebration of cutting-edge technology, collaboration, and the spirit of innovation.
Diving into the heart of the conference, attendees explored various topics, ranging from the application of advanced technological solutions to enhance user experience, the wonders of IoT apps, and the impact of artificial intelligence on domestic markets. Discussions also delved into the solar match, database indexing, and how Google safeguards our precious data.
Participants enjoyed a mix of inspiration, learning, and networking with industry leaders. The event featured fantastic speakers and panelists who were ready to engage, offering interesting workshops and chances to grow professional networks. The air buzzed with excitement as attendees soaked in knowledge and made connections that would stick with them in their careers.
Among the sea of participants, our company, “Alea Partners,” proudly stood as a platinum sponsor for the second consecutive year. Supporting IT students has been our mission, and being a part of ISCon 2023 was an extension of that commitment. Our colleague, Vera Klepic, took the stage alongside other sponsors, emphasizing the vital role of supporting conferences like ISCon in fostering student development. Vera highlighted how our company continuously supports students, providing them with opportunities to gain hands-on experience, even during challenging times. Regularly organizing workshops that transition seamlessly into full-time employment opportunities, Alea Partners showcased its dedication to bringing up the next generation of IT talents.
Adding to the excitement, three of our team members – Milos Danilović, Ana Popović, and Marija Slijepcević – contributed their insights through engaging lectures, enriching the ISCon experience for all attendees. At our vibrant stand, attendees engaged themselves in a lively atmosphere, showing enormous interest in our company and its products. The highlight? Visitors got a taste of our newest slot game, “Rakija,” with the chance to win some terrific prizes. Beyond showcasing our technical expertise, our stand became an enjoyable space where participants connected with our company’s dynamic spirit
ISCon’s mission is to become a central gathering place for IT professionals from the region and beyond, fostering inspiration, education, and networking with industry leaders. Judging by the resounding success of this year’s conference, it’s safe to say that this vision is well on its way to realization.
