We are looking for an experienced team leader who specializes in ReactJS
Core responsibilities:
- A passion for front-end architecture as well as a driven attitude towards learning
new web technologies - Handling coding works or major/complex parts of assigned projects and
providing coding help and supervision to team members. - Advanced communication skills with a focus on improving individual team
member and overall team performance - Responsible for mentorship and guidance to technical team members in all
project activities - Maintain code quality e.g. review Pull Requests (PRs), provide feedback to
devs and approve/deny PRs - Able to shift between a creative and a technical focus depending on the project
need and/or the type of project - Write technical documentation, presentations, contributes to determining
internal processes - Lead and manage a large team of Front-End developers and client developers
- Lead recruiting of new Front-End employees
Essential Skills:
- 3+ years hands-on experience in full-stack web development with JavaScript,
HTML, CSS. • Handling coding works or major/complex parts of assigned
projects and providing coding help and supervision to team members. - Highly experienced using JS Frameworks (React, Vue.js)
- Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it
- Expertise in developing and testing across multiple browsers, platforms, DOM
implementations, etc. - Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and
workarounds - Knowledge of version control systems like Git
- Experience in managing large-scale web front end development projects
- Demonstrated ability to accurately estimate and scope development work
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with the client as a trusted advisor
- Still hands-on with code every day.
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong written & oral communication as well as presentation skills
- Have a computing or software engineering degree. In the absence of one we
expect you to show that you’ve taken steps to fill this gap in your
training/knowledge.
Desirable Skills:
- Good understanding of RxJS and Observer pattern
- Experience with Styled Components
- Experience with testing libraries such as Jest and React Testing Library
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Ability to work in an Agile environment
